The Inaugural Golden Cobras Showcase 2026
27 May - 1 June 2026
To take our program to the next level, we launched the inaugural Golden Cobras Showcase - an evaluation for our coaching staff to assess each player's progress and their ability to apply what they have learned from our long-term development program.
All Golden Cobras members were separated into two teams, strictly by age division (U14 and U12), and every player played five full-ice games. All games were livestreamed on the Golden Cobras Hockey YouTube channel.
At just 8-9 years old, our youngest athletes are already learning more than just how to play. They're learning strategy, teamwork, and how to think as one unit. For Pak Teddy, Liandra's dad, that was the most impressive part of the showcase: seeing children not only compete, but also understand the game on a deeper level.
"It's fun because we get to play a lot of games and learn a lot too" - James
And this is why we do it. For these young athletes, hockey is More Than A Game. It's a place to learn, grow, compete, and create memories of a lifetime. At Golden Cobras, growth is more than just performance - it's confidence, overcoming obstacles, discipline, teamwork, and learning together.
Thank you to every player, parent, coach, and supporter who made the inaugural Golden Cobras Showcase a SPECIAL weekend. Here's to the Golden generation of Indonesia Hockey.
