A Reunion of Old Friends at City of Heroes 2026
14-17 August 2026
For a special weekend in celebration of Indonesia's Independence Day, the Yellow Army travelled to Surabaya for the annual City of Heroes Tournament - a reunion of old friends from across Southeast Asia.
Golden Cobras showed up with three teams across two divisions. U15 Cobras Yellow was led by captains Rasen, Nathan, and Momo, while U15 Cobras White was led by captains Gregor, Mark, and Arvin. In the highest division - Adult International - our club's U18 players competed alongside our coaches on our quest for the trophy.
The tournament brought together hockey communities from Malaysia, Bali, Jakarta, and Surabaya, creating a weekend filled with competition, connection, and the love of the game.
We headed home with 2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze, but more than the medals, we're proud of the memories, friendships, and growth we shared along the way. Until the next one.
